Persecuting Christians?

Well, tongue in cheek.

Same vein as this other post. Just want to give some more 'backing' to what that writer was talking about. Holy persecution over Easter...!

Church raps gay groups

- Kampala

Religious leaders have condemned homosexual groups over increased sexual abuse. The leaders, under the Uganda Joint Christian Council (UJCC), also condemned increased cases of abortion, prostitution and human sacrifice. “Homosexuality is a destructive disease. We are not just bodies, but spiritual beings attacked by such evils in our society,” said Metropolitan Jonah Lwanga, the leader of the Orthodox Church and the UJCC chairperson. Lwanga compared homosexuality to the HIV/AIDS scourge that has no treatment, yet it steadily contributes to moral degeneration in society.

The religious leaders made the remarks at the commemoration of the Passover and death of Jesus Christ on Good Friday.

Honestly, these blatant lies, from ¨religious¨ folks have to stop...I wonder how Jonah Lwanga will feel after it occurs to him that he is making sweeping and bigoted statements about the character of LGBT Christians and Others...sweeping statements that will cause, persecution, outcasting from families and lies...it´s a POWERFUL SHAME that the like of Jonah Lwaga have a place at the table in ANYONES life!

Metropolitan Jonah Lwanga,

Is a accomplice to the generating of hate crimes directed against LGBT Christians in Ethiopia and abroad. No doubt he likes that fact.

Pridefilled and irresponsible idiot he joins the rank ranks of the Pope and deadly Scott Lively.

Becareful all of you, these religious lunatics are running (off at the mouth) and they ¨know no what they do.¨

I never had a conversation with a christian. I wonder what would he say if I told him that there is a small portion in the brain that is responsible for "being homosexual"

This is really depressing. Why couldn't anyone of them try to research for a rational reason for homosexuality before judging homosexuals. In fact, they even should have figured the whole thing without researching! it's not hard for anyone to imagine "an attractiveness toward the other sex".

So... they had a good Easter, then!

Me, I gave up ritual murder, incest and cannibalism (they forgot that one by the way, can someone remind them to add it in next time?) for Lent...
