SunSet

Sunset

the dusky, orangey, sun splashed feel of evening,

a rowdy, bustling, bursting Kampala downtown

when the cars are many and thick,

streets traffic jammed, the cars

sandwiched, packed between the

jostling, joisting, pushing pulling crowds.

Sweet confusion sour.

tired faces, a long day’s work worn

a longer, stress filled packed journey expectant

homewards, outwards, out of town

to the leafy, dusty, peopled suburbs that we call home.
